Candidate Forum was a huge success!

We would like to thank all of the candidates and citizens who came out on April 21, 2010.  We had over 40 candidates in attendance who we can not thank enough for coming to speak to our group and their constituents.  We had well over 250 citizens in attendance and the party room at Juanita’s was packed.  We have more information coming your way soon.

Update: Thank you for joining us for last week’s historic event as candidates for state and federal office participated in the first Arkansas LGBT-issues Candidate Forum.  We will have pictures posted soon.

We need YOU, your friends and family there to show support (Allies welcome) for an historic event as Candidates for state and federal office participate in the first  Arkansas LGBT-issues Candidate Forum

Wednesday April 21st
Meet & Greet 5:00—6:00 pm   Forum 6:00—7:30 pm

Candidates will have an opportunity to speak followed by a brief Q and A. Questions may be submitted in advance and the moderator will ask the questions.

The Human Rights Campaign is in Arkansas to help ensure that Don’t Ask Don’t Tell is repealed this year. Senators Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryorwill soon vote on Don’t Ask Don’t Tell. Please help us collect signatures of Arkansas constituents to urge the senators to vote to end this discriminatory law.
